Channel 7, Australia’s leading television network, created two unique activations at The Royal Sydney Easter Show to raise their profile and promote their brand to families consumers at the event.

Polite Promotions were engaged to provide 8 promo staff for all 14 days activity to manage, operate and promote the following two activities.

The flagship activation was the 7 Newsroom, where children were invited to read the news in a simulated studio setting and have their best video take uploaded to the internet.

The second activation was designed to promote Channel 7’s upcoming home renovation TV show House Rules. The House Rules photo booth tent, encouraged children and their families to have their photo taken against a fun, interactive DIY inspired photo wall and have this photo printed live on site to take away with them.

Both activations were designed to entertain and engage target audiences of families and children visiting the show and create a strong visual presence at the event. Thousands of impressions were created both on-site and taken away from the show

Polite Promotions staff received excellent feedback for a stellar effort over the 14 day campaign. Staff were commended for maintaining an excellent level of energy and customer service across the entire campaign, their ability to pick up technical components of the Channel Newsroom along with the customer service and promotion required on the photography activation was of the highest standard!

Tim Tam Tour Bus

“Love More Than One” Bus Tour”

The Results

To celebrate the launch of Arnott’s new Tim Tam treat packs, the Tim Tam bus travelled around Australia for the month of February encouraging people to Love More Than One!

Polite Promotions staff were on hand at locations around Australia to hand out free Tim Tams to consumers who got involved in the free games provided on-site along with the Tim Tam Bus.

Polite staff were given a strict briefing to stay on key messaging, promoting the 8 new flavours that Tim Tams were offering in a new treat pack size.

Hundreds of thousands of Tim Tams were given away to consumers around Australia with a massive increase in awareness of the new Tim Tam flavours.

Polite Promotional staff received excellent feedback and praise for their effort.

The ‘Be the Influence – Tackling Binge Drinking’ campaign is part of the Australian Government’s National Binge Drinking Strategy. The strategy raises awareness of the short and long-term impacts of binge drinking on young people. Ultimately, it aims to, over time, contribute to the development of a more responsible drinking culture within Australian society.

This initiative aims to reduce the exposure of young people and children to alcohol imagery and branding, and also to reduce the links between alcohol and sporting activities where young people are involved. This was implemented at a number of high profile sporting events around Australia including the A League Final in Sydney, Australian Swimming Championships in Adelaide & the Netball Finals in Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

Polite Promotional staff received an outstanding response and feedback for their messaging campaign at these high profile sporting events. Large teams of up to 10 staff rolled out this key messaging campaign at these high profile sporting events around Australia with enthusiasm & professionalism.


ING Direct / ‘Sleep Easy’ Stunt

To support ING Direct’s stunt turning Martin Place in Sydney’s CBD into a live bedroom for one morning, promoting their new Superannuation product along with their ‘Sleep Easy’ campaign.

90 Polite Promotions staff in total were positioned in Martin Place to support the stunt with 80 promotional staff acting as ‘sleepers’ in addition to 10 Brand Ambassadors on hand to provide free coffee and lunch to bystanders along with communicating key brand messages.

90 Polite Promotions staff in total delivered a successful and eye catching stunt for ING Direct with a scene of 80 people sleeping in Martin Place at 6am and 10 engaging staff on hand to inform passers by on the new product!


AAMI Day On The Green

Hosting the AAMI Lucky Lounge for VIPs at the A Day on The Green to reward their loyal customers and generate widespread awareness of AAMI.

Polite Promotions staff greeted VIPs, distributed gifts and hampers to all guests and interacted with guests whilst communicating key messages from AAMI.

Our enthusiastic staff ensured the smooth running of the VIP area, receiving positive feedback from guests and the client alike!

Topshop Topman Store Opening – Westfield Bondi Junction

Promoting the opening of the new Topshop store in Bondi Junction and running activities throughout the store for members of the public.

A team of 5 Polite Promotions Staff, dressed to impress in Topshop clothing were busy distributing branded tote bags, socks and complimentary soft-serve ice cream and coconuts from the Topshop Van. The team also assisted in transforming Bondi Beach, setting up hundreds of Topshop branded umbrellas and towels to beach goers.

The launch of the store was extremely successful, with Polite Promotions Staff interacting with thousands of members of the public that visited the store over the 3 week launch period!

ALDI Sampling

To raise awareness of Aldi Supermarkets ahead of the launch of the stores in South Australia  and to introduce the public to their products.

A team of Polite Promotion Brand Ambassadors packed and distributed sample bags filled with high quality Aldi Products in high traffic areas near the stores. They also shared key messages about Aldi promotions and deals.

Over 6500 sample bags with a mix of Aldi products and pamphlets were distributed across the 7 day campaign, with the South Australian public positively reacting to the launch of Aldi in their local area. Polite Promotions staff were commended on their positive attitudes and friendly approach!
