May 27th, Kensington VIC                 On May 27th YouTube organised an educational event for brand marketers with YouTube. The event was filled with different activities such as guest speakers and a networking event. A few of our Brand Ambassadors worked at this educational event for different specific roles. In May 2005 Google launched YouTube. YouTube allows billions of people to discover, watch and share originally created videos. YouTube provides a forum for people to connect, inform, and inspire others across the globe and acts as a distribution platform for original content creators and advertisers large and small. This event was related to the YouTube Brand Academy. YouTube Brand Academy has been created to better connect and engage brand marketers with YouTube. This specifically includes educating brand marketers about YouTube & Google services and their benefits, developing stronger relationships between customers and SMB sales team, building and accelerating prospect pipelines and increasing spend on Google. Our promo staff in Kensington mainly worked as registration staff. This meant registering all the guests and offering the guests goodie bags. The promo staff was well presented and delivered all the key messages. Overall it was a very successful event! Guests were enthusiastic about their experience at the YouTube Brand Academy. The combination of the educational concept of YouTube and the well-trained promo staff, made the event memorable.
